Thursday April 19th: Roma Fiumicino airport/Foligno

Arrival at Roma Fiumicino airport in the morning and private bus transfer in Foligno.

Check in at the Hotel****, free time and welcome dinner, all together, in a selected restaurant in Foligno.


Friday April 20th: Foligno/Perugia/Bevagna/Foligno

After breakfast at the hotel, will go to Perugia for an amazing guided tour, with our English speaking tour guide. After the guided tour, you will enjoy your free time and lunch on your own in the city.

In the afternoon will visit Bevagna, a medieval village still in really great shape, walking in the villageand, at dinner time, will meet together in a selected restaurant.


Saturday April 21st: Foligno

After breakfast, will visit an olive oil producer in Foligno, with the visit of the mill and the olives groove. After the visit, will enjoy the olive oil tasting and lunch with the producer.

In the afternoon you will have free time and dinner on your own in Foligno.


Sunday April 22nd: Foligno/Assisi/Gubbio

Today, pack your bags and, while you have breakfast, Attavola staff will collect your luggage to move to Gubbio. During the road, will stop in Assisi, the St Francis’ city, to enjoy the guided tour lunch on your own.

After lunch time, will go in Gubbio, check in at the Hotel****, have your free time and dinner in a selected restaurant.


Monday April 23rd: Gubbio

Today you cook!

After breakfast, you will have your free morning at the hotel or in Gubbio. Light lunch and go in the kitchen after lunch, for the cooking class: a professional chef will work with your group and you will be responsible for preparing a traditional Umbria meal. You will start in the morning by going to the local market and shopping for ingredients. In the afternoon the chef will assist you in the preparation of the dishes. Tonight cooking class dinner.


Tuesday April 24th: Gubbio/Umbertide/Gubbio

After breakfast, will visit a winery in Umbertide, with their cellar and vineyards.

After the visit will enjoy the tasting wine and lunch with the producer.

From there, will come back in Gubbio, will enjoy the guided tour, then your free time and dinner on your own in Gubbio.


Wednesday April 25th: Gubbio/Orvieto/Roma

Today, pack your bags and, while you have breakfast, Attavola staff will collect your luggage to…Roma, La città eterna (the eternal city)! Will stop in Orvieto, to enjoy your free morning in this beautiful medieval village on top of the mountain and, at lunch time, will meet in a selected restaurant. In the afternoon, check in at the Hotel**** in Roma, free time, walking, shopping, enjoying the city and dinner on your own.


Thursday April 26th: Roma

After breakfast, will enjoy the historical guided tour of Roma, lunch on your own and free afternoon enjoying the city for last shopping or pack your bags. Will meet all together for the group dinner in a selected restaurant.


Friday April 27th: Roma/Roma Fiumicino airport

After breakfast, transfer to Roma Fiumicino airport.

Tour Umbria April 2018

Umbria is an interesting region, located in the central part of Italy. It is the heart of Italy.


The landscape is amazing, with beautiful hills, mountains and medieval villages still in great shape, as Perugia (the capital), Assisi, Gubbio, Bevagna, Orvieto.


Umbria is well know for its historical-religious past, well represented by Assisi, the city of San Francesco, Patron Saint of Italy. It is also well know for its cuisine, that is a cuisine from the land.


Think about the black truffle, especially in Gubbio and Orvieto area, the red wine, in Umbertide and Montefalco area, extra virgin olive oil (the most important variety is Moraiolo) and beans in Foligno area.


Don’t forget the charcuterie and wild meat in almost all the dishes.
